Was this the The Office writers getting a little meta? Because the one hour episodes don't sustain as well as the half-hour ones.

They don't sustain as well, but they're still a great hour of television. There's only one more full hour this fall before Scrubs anyway, right?
I'd have to agree with avitable. I think the hours work well enough to show that The Office COULD possibly translate to an hourlong show. Not that I think it WILL do this on a permanent basis or anything...
